Biking Technical Vocational High School clinched the Brigada Eskwela 2024 with the theme “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan”, along with the active participation of teachers, non-teaching personnel, parents, learners, and community members.
According to Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, Mr. Nathaniel Jose Fullido, the event, held from July 22 to 27, 2024, focused on preparing the school for the upcoming academic year.
The Brigada Eskwela Working Committees, established by Mr. Nathaniel Fullido, ensured the involvement of all stakeholders. The pre-implementation stage included extensive public awareness campaigns and the establishment of partnerships for resource mobilization.
The initial task was a campus-wide clean-up, involving sweeping the grounds to remove trash. Volunteers, including parents and students, restored classroom walls. The daily influx of volunteers continued, with sweeping the school grounds as a collective endeavor. Learners actively participated, reinforcing their connection to the school community.
Dr. Ma. Robilla O. Espejo, principal, expressed her gratitude to all volunteers, donors, and partners who contributed to the success of Brigada Eskwela 2024. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in ensuring a conducive learning environment.
