Josh Ethan Catabay of Grade 8-Jasmine and Angel Abay-Abay of Grade 12 Cokery were crowned as the new Mr. & Miss BTVHS Personality 2026 during a dazzling event held at the school’s covered court on January 20, 2026.
A total of twenty three pairs competed for the prestigious title, proudly representing different sections from Grades 7 to 12. The event highlighted not only beauty and confidence, but also the school spirit from every candidate.
Brett Yvan Bernal (10 Daffodil) and Clarivel Aquino (8 Jasmine) were declared 1st runner-up, followed by Dirk Harris Salon (8 Vanda) and Kysha Tumbiga (8 Ylang-Ylang) as 2nd runner-up, and Jerick Galao (8 Lily) together with Glaiza Marie Genson (8 Vanda) as 3rd runner-up.
Rey Benedict Cinconiegue (10 Marigold) and Shane Rose Cemini (9 Euphorbia) were named 4th runner-up, while Carl Michael Daguplo (Grade 11 Class 2) and Alexa Simo (8 Lily) earned the 5th runner-up title. Daniel Valenzuela (Grade 12 Class 4) and Trishia Jhen Miculob (7 Rose) were proclaimed 6th runner-up.
Juvan Linke (7 Anthurium) and Armanda Thea Cozo (7 Hyacinth) became the 7th runner-up, while Jay Carlo Petalcorin (Grade 11 Class 1) and Lynzie Nicole Igpuara (Grade 11 Class 2) were awarded 8th runner-up. Claid Arango (Grade 12 Class 2) and Jianne Elaize Sevilla (Grade 11 Class 4) secured the 9th runner-up spot.
John Lenard Esid (Grade 11 Class 3) and Marjorie Ann Paden (7 Anthurium) were hailed as 10th runner-up, while Carl Ryan Romerde (9 Euphorbia) and Mary Joy Ciruela (9 Sampaguita) were 11th runner-up. Earl Justine Abejaron (Grade 12 Class 3) and Johnna Ysabelle Celedio (10 Sunflower) became the 12th runner-up.
Archie Duhaylungsod (Grade 12 Class 1) and Bealin Caballero (10 Daffodil) earned the 13th runner-up title, followed by Bradd Lei Brylle Rojas (10 Sunflower) and Juvangie Miculob (9 Tulips) as 14th runner-up. Justin Jay Salavedra (9 Carnation) and Nikki Vinnes Subrado (10 Daisy) were 15th runner-up.
Rold Dave Dolauta (8 Ylang-Ylang) and Maria Nicole Pasco (Grade 12 Class 4) received the 16th runner-up title, while Chris Tirrence Penales (Grade 11 Class 4) and Juvy Mae Miculob (Grade 11 Class 2) became the 17th runner-up. Luis Miguel Henson (9 Sampaguita) and Liza Marie Bongay (Grade 12 Class 1) were declared 18th runner-up.
Mark John Albinda (9 Tulips) and Charmel Miculob (Grade 11 Class 1) earned the 19th runner-up title, while Vince Christian Eltanal (7 Rose) and Angela Esterado (9 Carnation) became the 20th runner-up. Rhian Clint Mara (10 Daisy) and Audrey Jane Migueles (10 Marigold) were 21st runner-up, while Sean Jay Eltanal (10 Waling-Waling) and Trisha Mae Cinconiegue (10 Waling-Waling) completed the list as 22nd runner-up.
Special awards were also given to deserving candidates during the event. The People’s Choice Award was awarded to Clarivel Aquino and Juvan Linke. Mr. Maroons Santiago Award was presented to Rey Benedict Cinconiegue and Trishia Jhen Miculob. Meanwhile, Claid Arango and Alexa Simo were recognized as BMA Ambassadors.
The Face of the Night Award was given to Claid Arango and Johnna Ysabelle Celedio who also won the Best in Gown Award and Best in Production Number. The Darling of the Crowd Award went to Shane Rose Cemini and Carl Ryan Romerde.
The event was graced by the presence of Hon. Marietta T. Sumaylo (Municipal Mayor), Dr. Carlito A. Fuentes Jr. (Public Schools District Supervisor), and Mrs. Marivic H. Bolos (SGC Co-Chairperson). Their attendance added prestige to the celebration and reflected their continued support for the school’s programs and activities.
The proceeds of the event would be used for the construction of a makeshift building that will serve as an additional learning space for students, providing that beauty with a purpose really does exist.
