With its continuing commitment to strengthen learners’ reading competencies and cultivate a deeper appreciation for literature, Biking Technical Vocational High School celebrated the power of literacy through its National Reading Month Culmination 2025 on December 4, 2025, carrying the theme “Read to Lead: Empowering Minds Through Books.”
The “Faces and Forms of Mythology: Gods and Goddesses Look-Alike” for Grade 10 highlighted the activity which made Ellyza Gabrielle Magallanes captivated everyone as Goddess Mayari and declared as winner.
The Spelling Bee of Grade 7 aimed to enhance vocabulary, improve spelling accuracy, and strengthen English language command that encourages healthy competition, and helps students grasp word roots, etymology, and definition, often preparing them for more complex academic challenges.
Students also took part in the Verb Olympics, an activity that emphasizes language mastery in a fun and competitive manner in which Kate Jhanel Sabijon won the competition.
The activity was spearheaded by the English department to reaffirm its dedication to fostering a culture of reading—one that empowers learners to lead, learn, and succeed in an ever-changing world.
